Not Quite Donne

So it's 8 in the morning and I still don't have to leave for another hour and a half, so I thought it was time for some long overdue recs. These are all non-holiday fest recs, too, just ones I've had bookmarked to rec for ages but couldn't get off my arse to do.

Okay, so the most I did with this was beta read it, but I still feel partly responsible, as I'm the one who poked Violet into claiming one of the pervy_werewolf stocker stuffer prompts. Sadly, she didn't feel she could do Remus/all the Weasleys in 1000 words (*eyes sooper sekrit author of Champagne Supernova and hopes for fic, cough* :P), so instead we got Potters but OMG THIS COULD SO BE CANON. I don't know why, but this fic, on top of several others in a short space of time, has really made me like Remus/Harry. Yeah, like seriously. Creepy-old-gay-uncle Remus is kind of awesome, and as long as there's not schmoop overdose, I do believe this pairing has potential. So, yes, do read this :D

Because, oh, he is so pretty when he is shagging everyone :D So it's no surprise that Flora could take something awesome like Rentboy!Remus and make it AWESOMER and in less than 1,000 words, no less. *turns around and double checks that, yes, I am not smoking anything* Look! James/Harry incest! My, err, new kink. *omghides* Srsly: OMG this fic. Like the best James/Harry, it is wrong in so many ways (and obviously AU), but the UST is just gorgeous and th wrongness is just delightful to read. If you are even vaguely inclined toward this kind of thing, read it. Before this, I had only ever read one James/Harry (and it's archived in my recs by toys list, if you want to check it out) and quite liked it, but had never sought out other fics. This one kind of fell in my lap via a rec from anise_anise, I believe, and I am so glad I took the chance and read it.
