So what did I do yesterday? Well, I got up at 11, watched a few movies, then, in the middle of watching a movie, fell asleep at 7 p.m., slept til midnight, finished movie, then slept until 11 a.m. this morning.
On the one hand, I think I'm finally over my jetlag - there is no longer cotton candy in my brain, yay! On the other hand, yay! I've come down with a virus! *throws back two DayQuil* Argh. This happened going the other way, too - something about trans-Atlantic travel just throws my system out of whack and I get sick.
I've never been hit so hard by jetleg, though mostly I think I let it effect me - I slept so much because I knew I had nothing to do, and let myself sleep. I am wicked behind on finishing my Percy Ficathon andhd_remix fics, though they're not at a point where I'm worried about finishing or anything. I just have to do it, blargh.
I did post the hd_hols round three rules and sign-up template for those who are interested. As much as I hate doing this in the current LJ climate, where everyone is frazzled, one of the newsletters is down and I'm not sure people are in the mood for writing, if I don't do it now, it will throw off the entire schedule. So look for sign-ups when they start next Tuesday. They'll be up for ten days, which will hopefully give things a chance to calm down. And, as I mention in the new rules, if the participant cap isn't reached, I may accept people after the sign-ups close, on a case by case basis. Honestly, my only real exception would be for those who were banking on Smutmas but didn't get in - but I reckon there won't be many cases of that, and hopefully those people would sign-up for hd_hols anyway. (on that note, I was thinking of signing up, but I have such little hope of getting in, it doesn't seem worth it).
