Not Quite Donne

Dude. DUDE. nostalgia_lj is my new favourite person ever. Torchwood Macros. Like every episode. And they a) SEE THE GAY EVERYWHERE b) love Ianto (as one should!) c) hate Owen and d) generally sum up every happy, not-so-happy and WTFBBQ? thought I have ever had about Torchwood. And there's Wales love. You know I love Wales. And the Welsh. It's practically an obsession, nowadays.

Love them all, but the ones for Combat are the best. Not the best ep, but in macros, it so is (they're all about Ianto being hot and Owen being a wanker, yay!).

Yay, crossover_hp reveal!!! So, yes, I think it was glaringly obvious which one I wrote, especially considering I wibbled about writing a Harry/Ianto a few months back. Plus, you know, the other eight million things I put in here that scream OMG NQDONNE WROTE THIS (I did everything but mention Tesco and Daniel Radcliffe, srsly). But anyway, I am ridiculously proud of this story - I think it's one of the best things I've ever written, present tense narration and all - so I'm going to be needy and petulant and tell you all to READ THIS FIC OR MAKE ME CRY. *ahem* Srsly: the porn is hot, I swear. Lots and lots of porn. And Welsh people. FTW.

So you know what is awesome? Having lizardspots scream down the whole building as she watches the Jack/Ianto stopwatch episode of Torchwood. He didn't even finish the innuendo and she let out the LOUDEST scream. It was AWESOME.

And she's making icons!!!! With Ianto!!!! And his giant man torch!!!!

Just love this. The dynamic between Jack and Ianto is perfect saucy!Ianto, and I really think I'm starting to develop a "sir" fetish. I've already decided that I want to have a Welshman in bed, just for the cadence of the dirty talk :P

Verges on emo, but that's okay, because Jack and Ianto are just sweet together, and I love the idea that Ianto missed Jack so terribly during his forthcoming DW series three stint. Not usually into hurt/comfort, but this worked for me.

Five Lessons: Ianto Jones by misspamela. Jack/Ianto, Rated NC-17.

Summary: Five moments between Ianto and Jack that track Ianto's evolution from the end of episode four to the end of episode thirteen.

I just love this as an idea of what happened between episode four and thirteen. I can see the relationship between Jack and Ianto going like this, and I particularly love the details about the broken shards of ceremic from a tea mug. Just perfectly evocative.

Broader than the Flood by giddygeek. Jack/Ianto, Rated NC-17.

Summary: After Jack gets an eye full of Ianto after a Weevil attack, he can't resist any longer.

Okay, I fail at summary, lol. This is a lovely PWP that still manages to pack a lot of character observation into the sex. I just love the little things - the details of Ianto's apartment, this one line at the end where Jack observes his manner. Just lovely, with angsty and thoughtful but passionate Ianto - my new favourite, I think.

Sun in the Sky by giddygeek. Jack/Ianto, Rated NC-17.

Now what I just *love* about this, is that it's the first fic I've found (since I began my search two hours ago, lol) where Jack/Ianto exists pre-Cyberwoman. And a part of me thinks it probably did. Maybe not as a full sexual relationship, but as something a bit above just a flirtation, at the least. She also nails coy!Ianto and cocky!Jack, which I'm finding not such a given in this fandom. I've only read so many fics, but not everyone can simultaneously pull off both characters the way I like them, but this author does quite well.
